June 1 & 2, 2018

On June 1st and 2nd Burlington’s Lester B Pearson High School will be celebrating 1976-2018 as it closes its doors at the end of June.  We are calling all current and former students and staff to come out to the school for various activities.

 

 

The party is evolving.  We need your help to make this the best send off we can.  Please fill out this quick survey to let us know what you are interested in seeing and doing at the event.

Outdoor fun night!
Play and watch soccer, volleyball or basketball and enjoy socializing with long time buds.

Registration: 5 pm
Games start: 6 pm.

Don’t forget your lawn chair and your favourite memories!

Saturday, June 2, 2018

Open House, Closing Ceremony and Reception
Check out the school.  Has it changed since you wandered the halls, stood on the stage or created your masterpiece?

Open House: 2-4 pm
Closing Ceremony: 4-5 pm
Participate in the alumni band or choir.
Reception: 5-5:45 pm

Friday Night

Friday night will be a chance to get together with friends from your Lester B Pearson years to enjoy watching or playing some sports and grabbing a quick bite. Registration will begin at 5 pm and games start at 6pm.  Remember to bring your lawn chair.  Make sure you have filled out the survey to help build the teams and to make sure we have enough food available on site.

You spent 4, 5 (or more) years at this school. Come take tour and see if it has changed since you attended (taught).  See memorabilia. Try on a band jacket. Catch up with former and current staff. Enjoy the closing ceremonies as we honour the decades that Lester B Pearson High School has served the community.

Alumni Band Interest

Get those chops ready!  There are over 45 alumni/current students/staff interested in playing in an alumni band for the June 2nd closing ceremonies.  A further survey will follow to determine what instruments we have.

Choir Interest is High

As of March 5th, 60 alumni/current students/staff are interested in performing in a choir for the Closing Ceremony on June 2nd!  A further survey will be released in April to determine what parts we have to work with.
